Stittsville is right next door to our Rouncey Rd base. For most Stittsville families the drive to training is shorter than a trip to the grocery store.
About 7 minutes / 4.6 km from central Stittsville to our training base on Rouncey Rd in Kanata, calculated with OSRM on OpenStreetMap data without traffic. Allow extra time at rush hour and in winter.
From central Stittsville, head east on Abbott Street East, which brings you straight onto Rouncey Rd. There is no highway at all.
The Trans Canada Trail crosses Stittsville on the old rail line, a handy reference point if you are meeting other families before training.
Because the trip is so short, Stittsville families often take turns by week. One driver can comfortably collect two or three players. Our carpooling guide has route groups and ground rules.
