Our training base is in Kanata itself, on Rouncey Rd in the Blackstone neighbourhood, so for Kanata families training is a neighbourhood trip rather than a commute.
About 7 minutes / 5.1 km from Kanata Centrum to our training base on Rouncey Rd in Kanata, calculated with OSRM on OpenStreetMap data without traffic. Allow extra time at rush hour and in winter.
From Kanata Centrum it is a short run south on Terry Fox Drive. From Kanata Lakes, Bridlewood or Beaverbrook, Terry Fox Drive is still the spine that gets you there.
If you know the Canadian Tire Centre, you know the area: it sits beside Hwy 417 just north of the Terry Fox Drive corridor.
With so many families a few minutes apart, two or three Kanata households can easily share a full week of sessions. Our carpooling guide has route groups and ground rules.
