Downtown families sometimes assume Kanata is too far for regular training. Measured from Parliament Hill, it is about 25 minutes without traffic.
About 25 minutes / 27.5 km from Parliament Hill to our training base on Rouncey Rd in Kanata, calculated with OSRM on OpenStreetMap data without traffic. Allow extra time at rush hour and in winter.
Join Hwy 417 westbound from Lyon Street, exit at Terry Fox Drive and head south to Rouncey Rd. Weekday evening Queensway traffic can add a lot, so leave extra time on weekdays.
We measured from Parliament Hill. From Centretown, the Glebe or Lowertown, add a few minutes to reach the highway.
