The drive from Appleton

Take River Road and Appleton Sideroad to McArton Road, then Upper Dwyer Hill Road to Hwy 7. Head east, stay on as Hwy 7 joins Hwy 417, exit at Terry Fox Drive and drive south to Rouncey Rd.

The Mississippi River runs through the village on its way between Carleton Place and Almonte.
